08/06/08 - As much as I hate to do it (and I hate the term even more) I've decided to go on a temporary hiatus. Nothing major, but I feel like I haven't been able to devote as much time as I'd like to the maintenance of this website. Life events have taken precedence as of late, and I'd rather be spending my time and energy on more personal and important issues. Dylan is starting school next week, and the last several weeks have consisted of me getting him prepared for it - not only with the mountains of paperwork required, but I've been trying to get him emotionally prepared for it as well. It will certainly be an experience.
But, this is not the end of Kristiegirl.org. I have so many ideas swimming around in my head, but I haven't really had the time OR energy to bring them to fruition. Therefore, I think it's senseless for my website to just sit here dormant. I figure that the few readers I actually have deserve an explanation. :)
But, like I said, I WILL be back. I don't know how long it will take, and as much as I'm itching to get things going, I'm not going to rush it and end up churning out a half-assed theme and a handful of unfinished projects. :) I'm hoping to come back better (and way more interesting) than before.
On that note, I'll see all of you later!
