Posted in Photos We decided to get a shelter dog. His name is Bruno, he’s a four month old retriever/lab mix, and we got him two days ago. So far, he’s been such a sweet dog and has only destroyed ONE of my shoes. ;)
He seems to be house training fairly easily as well - which is a plus. Dylan loves him. We love him. I hope he’s with us for a loooong time.

Sunday morning we all went outside to play in the snow. Somehow, between all the running, jumping, and taking snowballs to the face, I managed to snap these pictures. We had a blast, though. I tried to start a snowman, but the snow was too powder-y and it didn’t pack together very well, so after about fifteen minutes out in the freezing cold we just said screw it and came back inside. I’m sick of snow now. It was fun and all, but I’m ready for some warm weather again. :grumpy: *sigh*
Josh and I have been tossing around the idea of getting a puppy. We’ve talked for a while now about getting a Pug, but we don’t want to fork over that much money for it, not counting it’s shots, vet visits, etc. Plus with my luck, I’d go spend hundreds of dollars on a dog and it would end up getting ran over or something. Josh has mentioned he wants to rescue one from the pound, and I don’t think that’s a bad idea. People can get rid of a pure breed any day of the week, but it’s the homeless animals that they have trouble finding homes for. :( I hate the idea of animals getting put to sleep. :ouch: It breaks my heart. So, if we get a puppy, that’s probably what we’ll end up doing.
