Today has just been one hellacious mess after another. Everything was going fine this morning - we had planned for Josh to come home at lunch so we could go to the grocery (the bad thing about having one vehicle - we have to find ways to share.) All was fine and dandy, we had Chinese for lunch and got our grocery shopping done in a reasonable amount of time. Afterward, Josh decides he wants to stop by the new outlet store that just opened up to look for a blazer to wear to work - that was fine! I was excited to go and see their selection of clothing. Turns out, he didn’t find what he was looking for, but I found a cute outfit - jeans and a top for under $20 - not bad at all, if I do say so myself. The jeans were the same exact size, brand, and cut as the ones I had on, and the shirt was an XL (I normally wear a large) so I THOUGHT it would be okay to go this once without trying anything on. When we got home and I tried them on, neither one fit. The jeans nor the shirt. :wtf: I was so frustrated - the one time I buy clothes without trying them on first, they don’t fit. Even though I knew it should’ve. The shirt was so tight that it felt like my boobs were going to rip through it! Since when does an XL fit tighter than a large? I know that all brands and designers are different, but hell, shouldn’t there be some kind of standard measurement? It was really depressing to say the least. I finally got over it though - I’m going to return them next week and see if I can find anything that does fit.
On top of all that, earlier when I was tying to open the 12-pack of Coke, I accidentally pushed too hard with the scissors (I can’t open the fridge-pack thingy with my fingers :blank: ) and pierced a can. Coke was spewing out of it and splattering onto the floor and surrounding cabinets. It pissed me off so bad. I think I got most of it, but I know that if there is even one single little drop left on the floor the ants (those little fuckers!) will be swarming all over it before the night’s over. They come out every spring and summer and flock to anything sugary. It’s gross. I think we live on top of an ant hill or something. :( Someone hug me, it hasn’t been a good day.

Awww Kristie, I’m glad you had a great time on vacation. To bad to hear that the clothes didn’t fit. that’s how my luck it. I hope you got all the coke up. Maybe tonight will be much better for you. I’ll give you a cyber hug. *Hug* take care.
