He got buzzed!

Today Dylan and Josh got haircuts, and as I promised yesterday here are some pictures! But first, let me tell you a little story…

Usually, I dread taking him to the barbershop. He doesn’t handle it very well at all. There is usually some kicking, screaming, crying, and pleading with me not to get him anywhere near the chair, the hairdresser, the cape, or even the building. In the past, the only way I’ve been able to remedy his heartache is to fill him up with his favorite candy and have his daddy hold him in his lap - hair flying in all directions. With no cape on either one of them, you can imagine how messy that gets. I wasn’t expecting any less on this day…

He was a PICTURE PERFECT ANGEL the entire time. He wore the cape. He wasn’t scared of the lady or the clippers, and I didn’t have to dig out a single piece of candy. There was no crying or screaming - just him sitting calmly in the chair with his father, occasionally reaching his little hand out from under the cape to pluck off a glob of hair and throw it to the floor. I was amazed. The end result:

Not bad, huh? I thought she did wonderful job, and having it so short will keep us from having to take him again for quite a while. But then again, what do I have to be afraid of now? ;) Since he did sooooooooooo good getting his hair cut and he behaved himself the whole time - including when we got groceries afterward, we just had to give him a massive reward… (more…)

Rejected

PayPerPost rejected me because my blog isn’t 90 days old yet. :( *sigh* I guess I’ll submit again when it is 90 days old. Rules are rules I guess, but I have to admit I’m a little disappointed. I am a very impatient person.

Dylan is doing much better. The fever is gone and all that’s left is a stuffy nose. :) Tomorrow he and daddy are both getting haircuts - I’ll be sure to post pictures. :D
