It’s a little ironic

Am I the only one that loves thunderstorms? It’s been raining like crazy here this morning and I’m in such a good mood. :) Sometimes, I just like for it to rain! Not to mention my tomatoes were getting really dry…they needed a drink!

Dinner last night what delicious. :) Josh and I had a really great time with some really good food. We both had the catfish plates with a loaded (bacon, sour cream, & cheese…*drool*) baked potato. I admit, not the healthiest option on the menu, but hell, if we’re going to pay $30+ on food, I’m going to enjoy every morsel of whatever I want, dammit. :) :rawr: Dylan also was a good boy for my parents while we were gone. We missed him like crazy though! Isn’t that funny? Here’s a conversation we had last night at the restaurant:

Me: I wonder how Dylan is doing…
Josh: I’m sure he’s fine. Isn’t it funny how we wait for weeks to get the opportunity and the cash to go out to nice restaurant all by ourselves, and when we finally do all we think and talk about is Dylan?
Me: Haha, yeah it is. I guess that’s just part of it though.

I’m sure a lot of you moms can relate to that little scenario. It happens to us every time!

I have an icky bruise on my thigh. Why you ask? Because I ran right into the corner of Dylan’s bed the other night. :omg: :omg: :omg: it hurt so bad, I had to laugh to keep from crying. I had to laugh because I’ve got to be the only dummy out there that can just be standing next to something, not moving, and somehow get hurt. I guess I just thought I was farther away from it when I started walking away, but no. No, no, no I wasn’t.

I just told my husband not more than 10 minutes ago that I wished it would storm! :D I love a nice, peaceful storm. Nothing too tornado-scary-ish. I live in KY too, and last year around this time, it hadn’t rained in weeks (much like right now). And then….on the day of my wedding (june 18th), it rained. :P It was okay though, because there was a rainbow at the end of the day! :)

I bruise really easily, and I often run into the trunk at the end of my bed and get a really nasty bruise on my leg. :P

Well, if you like thunder you should’ve been in Finland these last few days :) It has rained twice and every night I woke up due to thunder.
I’m not a mother so I can’t really say that I have been in a similar situation, but I think I will be… later :P

Hey! I’m ennnzo from Despair.Nu. Anyway, I also enjoy thunderstorms every now and then. The only thing I hate in it though, is when we experience black-outs.

Just to mention the ones that you ate make sme really hungry.

Sorry to hear about the bruise!

:omg: , I LOVE thunderstorms and rain and everything. I really, really do. I wrote a whole blog entry just about that a couple of weeks ago. :woot:

I can’t imagine what that would be like to always have somebody else in mind that you need to worry about but I think that it must feel really, really great. Hehe.

Oh, and maybe come check my blog and read some of the past entries on the name issue in case you’re wondering why it would be Katharina all of a sudden. :lmao:

I also like thunderstorms, but only if I have someone there with me because I get scared even though they’re pretty. I’m glad you had a good night out but it’s perfectly normal to think about your son. My parents used to joke that they’d do that too. Icky bruises suck. I hope it goes away soon!
