Ah, Monday again…

11:27 am · Posted in Uncategorized

Yes, it’s time for yet another long week. The weekend seemed to have gone by so quickly. :( I really miss spending time with Josh, he’s been working so much lately…BUT I’ve already posted about that countless times. So, moving on…

Payperpost has really been working out good for me lately. I’ve been doing a couple of posts a day, and it’s not so bad. I apologize, Jessica. I know a lot of people despise PPP, and I can totally see where they’re coming from - it used to get on my nerves too. I really don’t want to drive away any of my visitors due to the PPP posts though, that’s why I try to do them in the morning, and I always leave a real post (like this one) on the front page, therefore no one has to read through any of the sponsored ones if they don’t want to. :) I don’t usually read them on other blogs, so…

Yeah, I’ve got a lot of work to do today (if you count being online as work :P). I wasn’t going to mention it, but I’m putting together a site specifically for my designs. You know, like layouts and such. I really enjoy doing stuff like that, and it will take a while, but I’m excited about it. It gives me something to do, ya know? I’ve seen a lot of them out there, and they look really neat so I figured I’d give it a try. :)

PSSSST! btw, added pictures to my Flickr!

That’s a lot of cell phones!

11:12 am · Posted in Uncategorized

I just read somewhere that there are over 150 million cell phones each year that get forgotten about and stashed away somewhere because people get new ones. That is a shit load of cell phones! I was unaware of this site before, but cellforcash.com is the place where you can sell your old cell phone! I’m totally thinking about doing this because Josh and I have 3 or 4 cell phones that don’t work anymore just lying around the house collecting dust. They’ll pay for shipping and the box to ship it in! That’s a pretty sa-weeeeet deal in my opinion. :D Click here to get started, I found that that’s a pretty good starting point. What’s I found particularly interesting is that on their F.A.Q. page, it says you can donate your old phone to various organizations and charities as “911 phones”. That’s something that I’ve always wanted to do given the chance. I’m definitely looking into this. :)

A couple more things I find interesting are 1.) The amount of manufacturers they have listed and 2.) The testimonials! A lot of people have obviously experienced them to be “beyond their expectations”. :) It really seems all too easy - and ‘recycling’ old phones (or any electronic device for that matter) in that way really cuts down on electronic waste (e-waste). I’m down with any company/organization that is interested in helping protect the environment, and not exploit it just to make profits. This site seems really genuine and is out there for a good cause. Now, where are those old phones of ours….?

This is a sponsored post.
