Finally, a clean house!

3:55 pm · Posted in Uncategorized

I love my husband with all my heart. He’s my soul mate, a wonderful father, and my best friend.

But the man can be horribly messy. Somehow, on his day off the house gets wrecked and the next day when he’s back at work I find myself cleaning and scrubbing everything! I don’t understand how that big of a mess can be made in one day…and most of the time we’re not even home the entire day! Anyway, today is one of those days, and I just got finished cleaning the house. :) The tables in the living room are really working out great (even though I can’t tell you how many times all of us have bruises on our knees and shins from bumping into them)! Josh rearranged the furniture the other day while I was out getting my hair cut, and I love the change. We’ve lived here for 2 1/2 years and the living room has always looked the same. I like to switch things up every now and then.

Dylan spilled a cup of juice in the refrigerator earlier…all down in the box of soda and everything underneath. It was such a mess - I had to take each soda can out (all 12 of them) and rinse the juice off, wipe out the fridge, and try to get the box full of juice out the trash can without it dripping everywhere. Somehow, I managed. Nothing irks me more than stuff getting spilled in the refrigerator and then becoming sticky and gross.

Home and garden decor

3:54 pm · Posted in Uncategorized

I absolutely love being and working outdoors. I wanted so badly this summer to plant a few flowers, set up a bird bath or two, hang some potted plants and bird feeders, etc, but just couldn’t find the time or the money to do it. Having such decorative things in the yard make me happy to be out there. In my opinion, it makes the place look more inviting and aesthetically pleasing. :) I mean what’s prettier then a bed of flowers or roses and seeing an occasional hummingbird or butterfly pass by? It’s nature’s beauty at it’s finest, and I love it.

My mother has a little goldfish pond in her back yard along with some patio furniture. We love to sit out there and chat on days that I visit my parents. Dylan and his little cousin enjoy catching frogs out there and looking at the goldfish that swim around in the pond. It’s really a wonderful place to be, and I wish I could have something like that for myself in our yard (although, unlike her I would definitely invest in a solar umbrella from Onlinediscountmart.com for those times when we’d want to stay out past dark!)

Onlinediscountmart.com has a great selection and wide variety of all kinds of things for the yard just in time for summer. If I had to money to spend on some of those things, I definitely would. This website has everything you can think of when it comes to outdoor (and even indoor!) decor - even bamboo water fountains which I would LOVE to have in the house somewhere! :)

If I’m ever able to scrape up some cash to invest in what I have planned for my front yard, I’m definitely coming back to this website.
