Holiday festivities and viagra

For those of us in the U.S. the fourth of July is usually a big, patriotic red, white, and blue display of an event, and is very popular to celebrate. Not for us, though. America, I love you, but I can only handle watching so many fireworks and eating so many hot dogs and hamburgers. :) Our plans yesterday consisted of my whole family (uncles and aunts included) gathering at my parent’s place for a big cookout and fireworks show. It was fun and everything, but one day of that mess is enough for me! My husband, my dad, my uncle, my brother, and my cousins wanted to celebrate in their own way with a case (or more, I don’t know exactly) of beer, so they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. 
My mom made something called Kentucky lemonade (pictured right) and I gotta tell you, it’s one of the best mixed drinks I’ve ever tasted! :heart: The children really enjoyed the fireworks display for a little while, but they got tired of the noise after a while and went off to play by themselves. I don’t blame them though, some of those things can get really loud and annoying.

I have been eating way too many hot dogs and hamburgers lately so lastnight didn’t seem like anything special when we had another bbq. That drink sounds amazing and now I want some. Holy crap. I hate spam. I can’t believe how ridiculous some of these emails are.
I think people go way overboard with the whole celebration of it, it’s not even ABOUT America anymore. It’s about girls running around in short skirts and skin tight shirts, eating hot dogs, and watching fireworks. Most people don’t even stop to think what this holiday is really about, and why we even celebrate.
That lemonade looks good! I may have to try it. ;)
Fourth of July sounds so… festive (is that the word?). Finland’s Independance day is the 6th of December and it’s all so solemn. Most people celebrate 6th of December with candles and VÃ¥rt Land and watching the ball at the president’s place lol.
You’re my hero for writing that e-mail! Glad you guys had fun on your 4th, but I agree there is only so much food and fireworks before it starts to get overbearing, hah. The KY lemonade looks so pretty! I want to make it now!
