What a week!

So, as you all know, I started my new job on Friday night. Everything went really good! I cooked, I put plates together for the customers, I washed dishes, I cleaned…I pretty much did everything they needed me to do. It was hectic, to say the least, but I enjoyed it. I enjoyed going out and doing something constructive. The pay isn’t all that bad either.

BUT, I’m exhausted now. I guess because I’ve never done anything like that before. Standing on a hard concrete floor for hours on end has really taken a toll on my feet, legs, and hips. :( I’ve really begun to appreciate good quality shoes, though! The ones I have are crappy, so today I’m going to look into getting a new pair.

It feels like I haven’t had time to turn around the past few days! It feels so good to just sit and…relax. :) Today, I’ve had to catch up on the things around that house that have been neglected. Laundry being the main thing - I never realized how quickly it can pile up before when it goes a few days without being done. Ah well, it’s all worth it though.

Dylan and I are going to Wal-Mart later to pick up a few things. Groceries for one, the cabinets are starting to look a little bare. I need to take him to the salon and get his hair cut (it’s so long! I don’t like it that long!) So, I’ve still got a busy day planned, but it’s alright.

Josh’s mom and step-dad came out last night to shoot off some fireworks. It was fun, although poor Bruno was scared to death and we couldn’t get him to come back home. Haha, all the dogs in the neighborhood were freaked out by it though. I don’t blame them, sometimes it can get pretty loud.

Well, I’m off to fix some lunch and bathe Dylan. I just wanted to blog really quick while I had the time!
