Jury duty, that is. I received a notice in the mail today. I wish there was a way I could get out of it, but unfortunately I speak fluent English, haven’t served any jail time, and I’m not dead or dying of an incurable disease. Some people have all the luck…

Oh how unfun! I’venever had it, but seriously, forcing people into something they don’t want to do hardly seems the best way to pick people to decide such important things.
My dad is a felon so he is excused but before that he pretended to be prejudiced against everyone imaginable to get out of it… it worked. My mom and sister have been summoned like 4 times total and each time they’ve never had to actually DO it, they were excused.
I’m so sorry. I was suppose to go 3/25/2008 but I got lucky, they didn’t call my number! Your new layout is so nice!
man, i really don’t look forward to the day i get jury duty. =/ maybe you’ll get an interesting case!
That sucks!! I’ve never had to do it, and hopefully never will :o)
