Behind the name

Honestly, not a lot of brainstorming was required. My mother-in-law calls me Kristiegirl all the time, so when the time came to think of a domain name, this is the first thing that came to mind. It’s just who I am.

This site was registered on December 26, 2006, and is hosted by E-Starr. I *highly* recommend them, by the way - I’ve never had any problems with them - EVER. :) Anyway, this site would be nothing without Wordpress, in my opinion the best blogging platform out there. I use Paint Shop Pro 11 to create all my images, FireFTP for all my file uploading, and notepad for all my coding. Credit for the contact form goes to tutorialtastic.co.uk, one of the best tutorial sites I’ve seen. :D Also, all the people at the WP support forum, for giving me a lot of answers to my frustrating questions.

This website serves as my blog and personal design project. I’m always trying to come up with ways to improve it, and ways to improve my design/coding skills as well.
